Personal Branding Agreement (PBA)
With the announcement of the Personal Branding Agreement [PBA] policy by the Indiana High School Athletic Association in May 2026, the four Catholic High Schools of the 推荐十大正规网赌平台, with the support of the Catholic Schools Office, are issuing this policy that will be implemented across the four institutions.
At the root of all that these four schools do are several qualities, including the beliefs that all human beings are created in the image and likeness of God, that the core of our programs are the teachings of the Gospels and of the Catholic Church, and that all of our programs and policies must always lead to the education of young men and women to be responsible members of their communities who have a deep and abiding faith in God. A logical extension of these beliefs is that our athletic programs are rooted in building young men and women who are strong not only in body and mind, but in spirit as well. We also believe that the first teachers of the young men and women who are entrusted to our care are their parents and that it is our duty to support them within the context of our institutional missions and our Catholic faith.
When entering into agreements and engaging in PBA activities, we expect parents and student athletes to refrain from engaging in any PBA activity that involves words, actions, images that are in conflict with the teachings of the Catholic Church as well as those that involve any organization whose mission or values are in conflict with the teachings of the Catholic Church.
We encourage parents and students to carefully and prayerfully consider whether a PBA opportunity is aligned with the teachings of the Catholic Church and to only enter agreements that align. If a student's schools determine that a PBA agreement or a student's involvement in a PBA activity is in conflict with the teaching of the Church, the student and parent will be informed and expected to terminate or withdraw from the agreement or involvement immediately. Failure to do so would involve disciplinary consequences, including a loss of athletic privileges.
Specifically, restrictions on PBA involvement includes but is not necessarily limited to the following:
- Gambling or gaming
- Alcohol, tobacco, or cannabis
- Illegal or banned substances (including performance-enhancing drugs)
- Sexually explicit or suggestive content
- Firearms or weapons
- Any words, actions, images, or interaction with organizations that are in conflict with the teachings of the Catholic Church
With these expectations and limitations, the four schools will uphold the PBA policies as stated by the Indiana High School Athletic Association
