Coach Mike McCarthy has been the Head Coach for Boys and Girls Track & Field since 2004 as well as the Head Coach for Boys and Girls Cross Country since 2011. He was the Assistant Cross Country Coach from 2005-201.

Coaching Highlights: 6 Sectional championships in track & field, 12 South Bend City Championships, 71 State Finalists, and over 150 Academic All State Athletes; Girls Indoor State Champions in 2011; Girls Indoor State Runner-Up 2009, 2010; Boys Indoor State Runner-Up 2012; 9 Indiana Track & Field All Stars; Cross Country: 3x boys State Finalist team (2009-2011), 2 Sectional championships, 9 South Bend City Championships, 2 Indiana All Stars, and over 100 Academic All State Athletes

Coaching Credentials: USATF Level 1 certified coach since 2006; Member- USATF as Coach and Athlete; Member and Sectional Council Representative Indiana Association of Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches (IATCCC); Past Coach Indiana Girls All Star team (2011-2014)
